<shrug> could be, but for some reason I remember it being in the transaxle bellhousing, one on each side of the central "rib" on the bottom.
I might have run into a modification from the PO to use a MT engine in the car; I looked at the engine from that car today and it was identical to the MT engine core sitting next to it.
