I just noticed that this radio is missing the outer, annular, knobs that should be around the inner knobs. It is possible that the Essen did not use the outer knobs, but that would surprise me. These center knobs also don't look right to me, but perhaps they are correct for the type 34. The correct inner and outer knobs are shown on this radio.
