<x-charset iso-8859-1> White smoke ? The only time I have had white smoke in an engine is when it is newly rebuilt and stuff is burning off , usually it may take around and hour to go clean. Usually it misses first then evens out. I have adjustable pressure sensors and when I have made an overly rich adjustment , the engine would smoke black and not white. I know white is sometimes an indication of steam and that some fluid will drip out of the exhaust as water, this is not fuel. Water is a product of a combustion process, depending on the type or brand of fuel, engine temps, compression etc... you will see this steam often , mostly in the morning when the engine is cold. Alot of cars do that. The other way white smoke would come out of the exhaust, is when you have a bottle of Nitro in use but I doubt you are using that. Oil burning is usually white with a very light blue tint that is barely noticeable. Too much gasoline burning is usually black but sometimes looks like burning oil , white/blue. Maybe it is just steam ? LEON MARTINEZ ------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <type3-off@vwtype3.org> For more help, see http://vwtype3.org/list/ </x-charset>
