That sounds like a lot to me, but it would be worth it if he is 
REALLY good, careful, and knows type 3s WELL. Note that it's 
extremely unlikely that you will find all these things in the same 
person.

I helped a local machinist do a type 4 a couple years ago, and I 
don't think it cost much more than this, and type 4 parts are lots 
more expensive.

I don't think GB goes this far, but you should be aware that there 
are lots of poor quality HP pumps out there which are junk.

Right, that's what I do.

Why bother? The stock cooler does everything you need and more 
cooling is not needed. The type 4 cooler might be useful at the 
higher displacements, but you're not talking about much of an 
increase.
