MTBE, Methynol, Ethynol, Cam2 racing fuel, etc, and combinations of all of these. Modern fuel systems components should not be effected by these products. Now, I will admit, that some of our cars may have older fuel lines (I would hope they have been replaced by now). This is why I replace all of my rubber components with current production hose. There was a problem early on with these modern blended fuels, and rubber components. Like the rubber donuts that hold the injectors in place. BUT, if you don't have a leak, raw fuel should not get to them. -- Russ Wolfe '71 Fastback AT '66 Fastback MT (IT RUNS) russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ------------------------------------------------------------------- List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list or mailto:help@vwtype3.org </x-charset>
