<x-charset Windows-1252>There is some sort of heat operated valve between my passenger side heat exchanger and my single carb manifold. It is stuck open and stubbornly so. should I leave it this way since the car worked OK in this condition? Also, one of the bolts that go through this assembly broke during removal. Heat and vice grips haven't retrieved the broken bit and when I tried to drill the bolt the bit wandered so I quit. Does anyone think that high temp silicon, two new gaskets and just one bolt hold everything in place here?
