The single port heads I am familiar with use a copper ring as a 
seal. The ring fits in a recess around the intake passage in the 
head. Check your head and measure the OD of the recess. I owe 
you an owner's manual and I can send you a few of these copper 
rings at the same time. I just need a measurement to be sure I'm 
sending the right part.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned that hole. I agree that it is pretty clean 
and should be easy to fix.

I suggest that you get a long piece of angle iron and drill 2 holes 
that you can bolt to the flywheel. I really don't care for the impact 
wrench approach.
