Ya I know, 3rd time in a row...... but I just took a few minutes and went through all of my FI D-Jetronics stuff again. Ok, Mark, you said you have a 69, correct? By all of the info I have, that year should be running a "B" or "C" ECU. When the #1 sensor was moved from the crankcase to the air intake distributor that is when the ECU changed to "C". The "A" and "B" were used in 68. Now, I understand that some of the later 69's had the sensor on the air intake distributor. I am sure some of you can let us know if this is in fact true. Where is your #1 sensor located? Is it on the left, top, near the air tubes for cylinders 3&4 of your air intake distributor? The #1 sensor on the 68 and 69 was located on the crankcase next to the spark plug distributor. The #1 sensor is located on all of air intake distributors starting in 70 on. I am just wondering if the air intake distributor was upgraded or you have one of those rare late 69s with the later air intake distributor. Once again, if you have the later, then you need to use a "C" ECU.
