Re: 69 SB Found

Hey all. Thanks for info on IRS Neil. I've heard that ride improves
dramatically compared to swingaxle trans.too.(makes me want to do it even
more) So here's the story-went to Ecology AW Sat.the 6th., for a radiator for
a friend's civic, and literally ran into this car around the corner in the
Honda/Toyota section! As I stood there in amazement and stared at this 99%
complete SB,a latin lot attendant walked by with THE deck lid cover in his
hand-I looked at it-then at him(I think I might have scared him) said" WAIT!
WHERE ARE YOU G...!" and he just handed it right to me!(sorry,dude-thanks!)(I
think he was going to use it to lay on) so anyways I smiled widely, said
gracias, wiped the drool from my chin, and instigated removal mode.Did
everyone know the small rear reflectors are sheet brass?(COOL) So, no fear
Jim- this junkyard allows it's customers to remove our own parts- it's the
beauty of the place-remove anything you want! In fact the old name for these
boneyards is Pick-your-Part! On the 13th, they are having a 1/2 off all parts
sale.(It's a gamble-wait and save-or chance having things gone by then) It
rained today, so hopefully no one has gotten to it yet! BTW does anyone know
if the electrically heated rear glass of the 69 will interchange with a 66?
Cheers!
Chuck
