He's just got too much experience for us to ever hope to catch up. ;-) But, the question on my mind is: What caused all those diluted crankcases? In my own experience I seem to recall that the oil in my non-CSV 68 thinned out more than the others. This was always in cold weather and around town driving. I think that car just ran too rich when it was cold and the crankcase ventilation was poor, plus I seldom got it warmed up. At least in my mind this was condensation from rich blow-by which just accumulated until the next time I took a long trip. I think the B brain cured a lot of this, and the later crankcase ventilation kind of polished it off. Did you notice anything similar, Russ? - ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ------------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe? mailto:type3-request@vwtype3.org, Subject: unsubscribe
