I have to admit, as a dark sider I read this post completely differently. VW FI is too limiting on the motor. What I mean is, you can't run a heavy cam, bigger valves and an 050 dizzy. You can build the motor bigger, but with stock valves and a stock cam. But the stock VW FI will never push a 150hp car! That is where the carbs are much, much better.
