You've got a big air leak into the intake air distributor, you just haven't found it yet. A few things to check: Is there a hose connected to the underside of the entrance of the intake air distributor? This hose is about 1/2" dia and should run about 5" to the aux air regulator. Is there a (red) hose that runs from the under side of the black breather box along the lower right edge of the intake air distributor to a metal pipe that connects to the back cover of the IAD? Is theمفAe running from the Pressure Sensor (slung from the underside of the bodywork to the left of the engine) to the left underside of the IAD? Are any of these hoses frayed or cracked so that air could leak in? Are the 4 large hose pieces on each side of the IAD snugged up against the IAD? Are your intake air runners properly tightened against the heads using the correct bakelite insulators and paper gaskets?
