The set-up on my car ('70 Fastback) is a tandem MC with two brake light
switches. It looks just like the sketch in Fig 1-1 on Page 4, Section 2 of
my Bentley. Neither the new nor the old look like the illustration in the
Haynes. My old MC has five holes in it (not counting the reservoir inlet
pipes). Here's where everything hooks up on the old MC:
A hole directly in front is for the front brake light switch.
The LF hole is for the LF wheel.
The RF hole is for the RF wheel.
The LR hole is for the rear brake light switch.
The RR hole is for the center line that goes to the back wheels.

I looked at the new MC again and found that there are indeed no extra holes
as I had thought. The new one does not have the hole in the very front
like the old one. And the new one has TWO holes on the RF. One that
points straight out, and the other is angled ~45-deg. dowãÿ!ì

So the angled RF outlet is for the LF wheel...
I assume the "straight" RF hole is for the RF wheel?
The RR hole is still for the center line?
The LR hole is still for the rear switch?
The LF hole is now for the front switch?

Another brake question...
After removing the front disc calipers, the manuals all recommend using NEW
mounting bolts. Is this really what everyone does?? If so, what part
number do I need to ask for at the store?

Thanks.
