Re: [T3] New or rebuilt?

I have r<¢uhe wheel brake cylinders with satisfactory results, but have never tried to do the master brake cylinder.

Out of academic curiosity more than anything else (since I am purchasing a new cylinder), what is involved in rebuilding a master cylinder that is not involved in rebuilding the wheel cylinder? I might want to try it some day... as another manifestation of the universal death wish...

Side note: In 40 years of owning VWs of all kinds, this is the first time I have ever had to replace a master brake cylinder. Tough little things, aren't they?

Thanks...
