The MC has a lot more parts, especially the tandems, and you can put 
them together wrong. There is also a stop bolt that has to be 
installed without damaging anything. If you already know how to clean 
out and hone a wheel cylinder then that part is the same, just more 
of it.

Yes, but I think you've been lucky. Unless you use Silicone brake 
fluid, I find that the MCs tend to last less than 10 years between 
rebuilds.
