Today as I was starting out for the day, about two blocks out of the driveway, my car did a gut-wrenching hesitate, but didn't die. When my heart started beating again I turned around and headed home, waiting for the lurch to happen again so I could pay attention to it, but it didn't happen again. I'm inclined to say it came from the transmission, but then again, as I said it didn't happen again so I can't be sure. Any ideas what this could be? It was chilly today, could it be that the transmission needs to warm up (manual)? Or needs some maintenance? How does one warm up a transmission? Bah, I'm getting ahead of myself, I'll sit tight for an answer. You have all been really good and reassuring me that my doomsday assumptions are unfounded....... I know this is hardly any info.......email me if you need more info and I'll try to provide it, or my ICQ # is 974089......
