My stock '66 Sqbk probably should get tuned >up, but it has been getting 18 MPG city. (I havn't really dared take it >out for more than a couple trips on the hwy yet) I get 23 mpg now that the weather is warmer, 20 in the dead of winter. That's just an average tankfull, hwy driving will take it up a bit. I think they should be a bit higher. I don't do many short trips. Less than 20 is a bad sign unless there are extenuating circumstances. 73 FI squareback Jim --------------------------------------------------------------------- Melissa Kepner Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org jradney@njackn.com Laura Kepner-Adney Madison, Wisconsin ---------------------------------------------------------------------
