Use loctite on those 6 mm fan housing to case bolts, but drill and
tap the holes deeper first and use longer bolts.

There are lots of things that you can do, but it would take a book to
explain all of them. As a start, you should study the appropriate
chapters in the Bentley manual and the Bill Fisher book. Don't just
assume that all the important stuff will be obvious or that whatever
book you come by will be accurate. There are good reasons for
recommending those books in particular.

The distributor drive gear position is just one example of why you
need to get, and read, the proper manual before you start.

You're probably better off asking for specific help each step of the
way.
