[T3] reassembling a Type 3 engine

I just got my rebuilt longblock back from the shop and I'm going to 
start putting things back together. It's been a long time since I've 
done this -- last time was over 15 years ago. Are there any general 
tips anyone can offer? I remember someone suggesting Locktite for the 
fan housing bolts a while back. What grade would work best? Anyplace I 
should consider using a gasket sealant?
