Problem is that there isnt any seal between the headlamp and its trim ring correct? Just between the trim ring and the fender. A 70MPH blast of salty water spray is NASTY and gets just about anywhere, even between the adjusting screw and the ring. Keith ' Shouldn't be any salty water inside the headlamp bowl. They use to have an O-ring seal around the outside for the trim ring to seal on. They were fine when new, as long as they were getting close to 6V. Much better than the Beetle with its sloping headlight lens (non-sealed beam). Dave.
