Its often necessary to take things apart to get them threaded thru properly. Make sure to get the Bowden housing installed properly at BOTH ends once it's in place, and be sure to install it with plenty of grease. Don't leave the Bowden housing out; that will lead to relatively rapid wear. > And here's a weird idea. It's an interesting idea, but I think you'd find that the spare cable in there caused more trouble than it cured. If you're that worried, grease up a spare and put it back in its plastic bag, so it won't rust, and store it in the car. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
