Yep, it's connected and the condensor body is continuous to ground,
and the breaker plate is continuous to ground also.

Is it possible that a bad coil wouldn't charge up at the speed at
which ignition should happen during a startup,, but it would charge up
at the speed at which I was manually operating the points?
