RE: [T3] Front disc brakes


If your anywhere they have salted all the beams youll find will be rusted
out under the clamps or under the ears.  Even in the west most of the beams
have rotted thru by now, check it over carefully and pull the torsion bars
out to make sure the bushings haven't worn into the arms and that the
torsion bars are concentric in the arms indicating that they aren't bent.

Good beams in the Northeast have been non-existant for 20 years.

Ok folks it looks like I'll be scouring the local pick & pull yards for a
later front beam. What other parts will I need/ Should I take the MC? Mine
is a single circuit 19.05mm. What adjustments will have to be made for this
job. Thanks for the info.
