No engine and no clue what all had been done or undone in the whole car. Long story short, I built an engine, put it in and when I turned the key from on to "run" the starter engaged! When I pushed it over to "start" it disengaged. Obviously there are a few wires crossed somewhere. Please feel free to take a crack at the problem. Also, does anyone know where I can find a factory color code for the wiring harness? I would like to test fire the new engine before the assembly lube fossilizes! Check the technical stuff. -- Russ Wolfe '71 FB AT '66 FB MT '64 T34 (not running) '65 T1 (not running) '05 KIA Sorento SUV russw@classicvw.org http://www.classicvw.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
