Bearing wear over time will push this to these limits, but wear elsewhere will push it higher. As part of my rebuilding service I generally refinish the cam. I also clean up and relube the breaker plate, but this part sometimes is too worn to salvage. Fortunately, I have replacement breaker plates, both new and used. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
