Its converted to 12V and runs a late 12v setup for the engine. It has an O ring and that seemed OK but Im putting in a new one anyway. Keith clean it off when the machined it. It didn't seem bad enough to be leaking > but???? Its getting a new seal, O ring, and I emeryed the sealing surface > to smooth out any irregularities. > If your Notch has a 6V flywheel, It is doubtful that it takes an Oring. Only very late 66 T-3's used an oring in the 6V flywheel.
