Later beams have the Zerk fittings poking thru holes right in the middle of the 
beam clamps.

I believe the early trailing arms have longer shafts where they stick into the 
beam, putting the inner bushing farther inboard. I've only seen one of those, 
and it was from a very early type 34. A fellow looking for some parts came by 
my house and showed me his old part, which looked quite different from the 
later ones I'm used to.
