Later beams have the Zerk fittings poking thru holes right in the middle of the beam clamps. I believe the early trailing arms have longer shafts where they stick into the beam, putting the inner bushing farther inboard. I've only seen one of those, and it was from a very early type 34. A fellow looking for some parts came by my house and showed me his old part, which looked quite different from the later ones I'm used to. -- Jim Adney jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, WI 53711-3054 USA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
