Check the fuel lines for leaks/cracks, especially around the engine
compartment and the condition of the brakes. Basically you want to be
able to stop, and you want to not be on fire. :) Check to make sure all
the cooling tin is there, and the air bellows, and all fluid levels.
Drive it around the block, maybe pick up a little speed, and gauge how
confident you'd feel driving it home. Test the brakes. :)

Incidentally, was this a yellow Fasty outside of Philly? If its the one
I'm thinking of, I recall seeing it for sale on The Samba two years ago
for $4200 or so, and it stayed for sale for a long time. Sounded like
the seller was sticking to his guns on the price.

Good luck!!
