RE: [T3] Number 4 issues..
<x-flowed>> From: Russ Wolfe
Don't boil it outside the bracket. It will explode, and be ruined.
I tested a new one outside the bracket and it survived. Maybe I'm just
lucky! Didn't boil it though, just got it warm enough.
New ones are NLA.
I got a brand new T1 one recently. 34 UKP, though, so pretty
expensive. Mine had popped and the flaps failed open, then jammed
through lack of use. The new one had a different number of folds in
the bellows, but I checked and it extends far enough to hit the top of
the bracket, which is all that matters. Overall length was the same.
The opening temp is 65-70 Centigrade.
Its marked on some of them. Very faint though.
An easy way to get the right temperature water to test with, is 2
parts cold, 1 part boiling.
