My guess is a bug Petronix would work -- the pickup is based on the location 
and shape of a set of points.  The FI distributor has a set of "trigger 
points" in the body of the distributor -- only needed for the original 
electric fuel injection.  You can take these out of your distributor, just 
plug the hole . . . but you have to have the other points to run the car.
