Or have they moved a little? It's possible that one or more of the locking teeth have embeded into the recieving track, and locked the seat in place. You might want to make sure the connecting rod is actually releasing the seat lock from the track. Just remember, if you get the seat base to move, about 3 inches from the end (the front end), there is a spring (more like a bent piece of flat stock that is curved) that will need to be depressed in order to get the seat to finish sliding off the tracks. Good luck with your project, sounds interesting. : ) Bob 65 Notch S w/ Sunroof and IRS 71 Square, now a 2 seat Roadster, pics can be seen at; http://volksrods.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=2977 and now awaiting a 2.0L t-4 engine transplant, finally have the needed parts : ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
