While I was running around the various buildings in Yokohama doing the paperwork shuffle the car decided it didn't want to start. I assumed it was the battery so I had just replaced it before getting underway last time since the car occasionally wouldn't start. A couple guys started to give me a push after thinking it had now become the starter but as we got ready to push it it fired right up. And this morning it started right up after not doing anything for me for three days. Being a '68 with dual carbs it must have been converted at some point so does that change the relay I need?<< Gary, I think the relay Lori needs is for her FI. In your case, the starter might have been sticking from not being used (while you were out to sea). I think you'll find that with some regular use, it'll free itself and start behaving normally. Just a little FYI, cars don't like to be parked, they really are designed to be driven, and they need to be driven. I've found that I have to give the electrical system a quick check up / tune up every spring after mine come out of hibernation. It seems some stuff likes to quit working from not being used. I hope this helps.
