So, just keep it wet, not necessarily pressurized. Will do. Within 1
hour, the pressure had dropped to <5 PSI, and judging from the fact that
I got 3 shop-towels-in-a-box damp (not soaking wet) with gasoline, that
was probably where most of my pressure went. Maybe getting gasoline to
go over the o-ring at the rate it did (seriously, I could see the
droplets forming and dripping off) might be the trick to resuscitate
these seals. Stay tuned...
