It's not an especially difficult repair. Like I said, find a "universal
carburetor return spring" at your local auto parts (when I sold parts,
there was a display pack with 10 on a cardboard backing) and you should
easily be able to duplicate the original.


Are both sides screwed up? If not, take the other seat out and use it as
a model.


Is the seat coming out of the tracks completely, or does it slide back
and then stop when it hits the limit? If the former, you should also see
what you can do about fixing that retainter hook.
