The pin keeps sliding out and then the passenger just sllliiiiddddeeesss back! lol OK.. we are going to probably take it somewhere. This I am assuming is not something I should just cobble together. I want to post a pic of my baby! How do I do it?

I happen to have my seats out of my '73. Here's a pic of the area in
question, (in super gigantic resolution, hope you're not on dialup)

You can clearly see the hook Bob's speaking of, and the pin. If the hook
is missing, and the pin (or the return spring for the pin) are missing,
you're gonna have this problem. You could probably make a universal
carburetor return spring from your local FLAPS work there if you need a
new spring.
