It's like that in the parts company catalogue, so maybe there was an unofficial fix (cut the offending bit off!). Handy to find out when info is wrong though - I'll have to change it. If it was a model we didn't see here I would understand, but there must have been a few people who got given the wrong cap back a while. I guess it's part no 341 905 207 that's used for the twin carb 1500S? Yes, ZV/JCU 4R3. I didn't notice it first time looking at the Type 3 parts book. My father had a '64 1500S from new - probably the same one on that. Looks like the '69 Type 3 carb manual trans got a one year only too, for some odd reason. Dave.
