Certainly possible, but seems unlikely. > Also do you think he should "wire" in the cable. Lot's of people do this, but I never found it necessary. OTOH, the early pedal assy is in 2 parts (separate steel piece to hold the gas pedal), and I've never had to deal with that one. The late assy is just a single alum casting and is a lot less of a handfull when trying to get all these pieces in there at the same time. I've always thought that the late pedal casting assy would be a good upgrade for early cars. Note, however, that there are 2 different lengths of clutch cable arms. This can change your mech. advantage on the clutch; sometimes this is good, sometimes it is bad. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
