Type 3 Konny

I didn't realize that you knew him. I've been thinking about contacting him
about making more of these, and in the A version, but I wanted to make sure
that they got done to the right scale this time. From his prices, it appears
that he knows a place that will do good work at very reasonable prices. I
believe he quoted me a price of $11 each in quantitys of 10 or more.

I actually have a very few OG NOS examples of both versions. I could make a
model of what we needed if that would help. If there is shrinkage of the new
material coming out of the mold, then the model and the mold would need to be
oversize, but that can be done by soaking the original in a solvent that makes
it swell, and I suspect that with a bit of care this could be nicely
controlled.

What I'd most like to do would be to produce a "double grommet" version which
would replace either the A or C model. I don't think it would be hard to make a
model of this from old parts (which I also have saved.)

I guess the only thing holding me back has been his claim that his English
isn't very good, so I didn't know how hard it would be to set this all up with
him. What do you think?

BTW, I emailed George Tunks a couple days ago about my fuel pump experiences.
I hope he'll have some comments for me soon.
