[T3] inner quarter seal and heat
<x-flowed>I was just our in the garage pondering my engine/cooling and noticed that
my left inner quarter seal is dry and cracked in places, and especially
near the bottom-rear mount, where there are a few chunks missing (a 1/2
inch gap at one point and several 1/4 inch gaps) and there is heavy
cracking. Could hot engine air be entering into the system through these
cracks/gaps, and if so, since they are rather small, could this cause a
noticeable engine temp increase? I actually have a spare seal on-hand, so
I'm going to change it out ASAP, and hope that it has some relation to the
puzzle!
