Since people have been proposing the Jetta Wagon as the fastback 
"replacement" and the Audi TT as the Ghia "replacement," I wonder if 
there are any other *makes* of cars that could've been "replacements" 
for our cars other than VW (am I talking heresy now?).... I mean from a 
design standpoint.

I mean, maybe we're reading into designs? Just a thought... :)
