Main jet is too small,I think. Also upsize the air corrector.
(chokes or Upper venturis, he didn't like when I just called them venturis, what's the more common word? )
Vents
Engle 120 Grind Cam 1 6/8" exhaust headers.
Seem a little too big the headers do.What heads?Valve sizes?
Short manifolds, and short air cleaners to let the lid close.
He predicts that the advice will be to go with smaller [ 32mm? ]
I wouldn't.
chokes/venturis but says that we'll sacrifice a lot of power that way.
At the top of the rev range for sure.
He thinks we're fighting against the short manifolds, and exhaust headers that are possibly to large. I think he also thought someone might suggest F7 emulsion tubes.
On top of all that he thinks the restricted air flow from the short air cleaners is
probably robbing a lot of power.
Possibly.I have a 2110cc motor with 36mm dells. It seems snappy enough with the short manifolds. My aircleaners are only 1 1/2" tall too.I have to open the throttle a bit when dropping the clutch.Perhaps you need some practice or instruction with manual shifting..
