The easiest way to do this (with 165-15 tires) is to just slip your hand, palm down, under the wheel arch and reach your fingertips in until they are resting on top of the tire. For a front wheel, the back of your hand will be touching the wheel arch. For a rear wheel, the wheel arch will push the back of your hand down about 1". If you already went thru the angle proceedure with the Bentley but you have one corner that isn't right, then either you made a mistake, or you have a cracked torsion bar. Note that it is hard to tell which corner of the car is wrong, since this will probably throw all 4 corners off, but the one that is worst is probably the bad one. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
