It's not at all hard to pull the rocker cover and the rocker shaft, too. Then 
you can pull out the suspect pushrod easily. If it's bent, then I'd remove both 
pushrods for that cylinder, or just install a good pushrod right away. If you 
remove them, disconnect the injector like Russ suggested. You can just 
reinstall the rockers without readjusting, as long as you don't mix up any of 
the pushrods. If you replace one, of course you'll have to readjust that 
rocker.

It would be best not to drive much this way, because the thermostat might not  
open with the # 2 cyl disabled and cold.
