The triple tongued ground lug (Bentley, ch 4, pg 18, item 26) should have 3 lugs to it with 2 wires into each lug. In addition, I believe there should also be a separate single lug (item 25) on one of the case centerline studs. This lug may have as many as 3 wires to it, as follows: 1) ground wire to the brain (I don't recall ever seeing this one.) 2) ground wire for the EGR (AT only, which I believe you don't have.) 3) ground wire for the pressure sensor body. I'll bet # 3 is it. That wire may or may not still be in place, but is there a lug for it under one of the 4 case cover screws? Most 72-3 PSs came with this, but it doesn't seem to be essential. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
