You should be able to verify the wire with an Ohmmeter to the brain connector. <<< Yep, I agree...it "should" be a ground wire for something......It is not the same ground wire that is connected to the 3 spade connector on the block....that wire is present and accounted for. I did do a continuity check from this wire to the brain's main harness, and it didn't make a circuit on any of the pins.........but I'll try again just in case I missed something. The engine does run with this disconnected or connected to ground, it doesn't matter....but it is puzzling as to what is it supposed to be for?
