I am going to let it float on the wheel well. it will stop right after the the back of the wells. the 6x9's will sit on top of the well and the 10" will be in a panel with just enough space for a sealed encloser. It will be able to move forward if I need more room in the trunk and it won't interfer with the engine lid. The front speakers will be 61/2 in the kick boards. I am going to build a center consol to fit the head unit. I found a great package at god forsaken walmart, Poineer head unit and 4 61/2 speakers for 100 bucks. It's not top of the line but good enough for a starter and not a big lost if stolen ----- Original Message ----- From: <BOB2TYPE3S@aol.com> To: <type3@vwtype3.org> Sent: Friday, March 11, 2005 9:14 PM Subject: Re: [T3] SPEAKER PLACEMENT > In a message dated 3/11/05 6:20:57 PM Eastern Standard Time, > hougham@indianvalley.com writes: > > << I don't mind cutting interior > pannels because mine are only in fair condition at best.
