RE: [T3] Bill and Steves fender beading

Depends on the year. I have a 1997 Jetta GT I bought new. It has 115k on it
and have had no problems with the car other than the rubber side moldings
falling off, which started after the car was 2 years old. I have only run
synthetic oil in it, usually AmsOil when I could get it. Although I have
heard that the 2000 models had big problems. Now if I could just get my 69
fastback finished

Uh oh.. mine's just hit 100k. Only car I've ever owned since it was
new.
good thing I've got two squares, to help keep the last 20k off it. :)
