Be SURE to remove the battery ground before doing any of this. If you don't, you are very likely to lose a finger. It's NOT the wiper arms that you have to reposition; its the little short arm on the end of the gearmotor shaft. Loosen it on the motor shaft and then turn it so that the arms go to their extreme on the side where you want them to park. Retighten the arm on the motor. Connect the battery and run the motor and let it park again. Check that it is at the EXTREME END of the sweep. If it is not, disconnect the battery and readjust the motor arm. Repeat if necessary. Once the arms park at the extreme end of the sweep, you can adjust the wiper arms on the wiper shafts to put that point where you want it. Never attempt to adjust the motor arm with the battery connected. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
