Re: [T3] replacing Brake line front to rear

<x-flowed>Oh man... Here I thought it was routed through the middle of the beam!
I just pulled out the back seat and there it is in plain sight! You'd think I would have remembered that from the time I replaced all the carpet in there.
Thanks Mark!

I didn't know Jim had SS lines available, so I guess the answer to that is no. I bought just whatever they make brake lines out of, I guess.

So, is there a fuel line that runs through the middle that you can't get to? Or have I been inhaling too much brake dust again?

Thanks,
-Nico

You mention the grommets, and I assume you have unbolted both ends (that T-connection in the back is very tight!). There are also some metal tabs that hold the line firmly against the floorpan, including under the rear seat. Bend these up carefully. Then the line will be free to move. Easier to remove by sliding out the front of the car. You will also want the driver seat removed (assume LHD here...) Are you replacing it with one of Jim A.'s stainless steel lines?

I've unscrewed both ends of the line, popped loose the rubber thingies that
plug the holes, then went 'tug!' but nothing happened.
It seems to be clipped somewhere beyond where I can see or feel.
