It has all the same advantages and tends to be a lot straighter. > Also, I was taught that spark plugs go in cold on an aluminum head, and > that you put a little anti-seize on the threads (being careful not to > get it on the electrodes.) I'd avoid anti seizes with graphite or metal in them. These can eventually get on the SP insulator and cause problems. I use a compound of MoS2, which is non- conductive and causes no problems. -- ******************************* Jim Adney, jadney@vwtype3.org Madison, Wisconsin, USA ******************************* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ List info at http://www.vwtype3.org/list | mailto:gregm@vwtype3.org ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
